Non-offending Parents Support Group

Support for the parent who did not abuse the child. Groups are held in the daytime and evenings.
Created for ex-offenders, by ex-offenders. Objectives: to offer a place where ex-offenders can address criminal thinking and behavior, to help ex-offenders realize that there can be another way, to facilitate change in the ex-offender through providing resources, facts and information on issues including education, work, housing, etc., to encourage the ex-offender to reach out and take advantage of the systems' support in order to make change, to help the ex-offender comply with Probation/Parole to achieve freedom, to promote hope in the lives of ex-offenders by encouraging realistic goal attainment, and to support ex-offenders to obtain true pride in culture and community. Groups Topics: Criminal Thinking, Unhealthy Lifestyles, Taking Responsibility, Re-treat, Re-think, Making "ATTITUDE" Work For Us, Relationship Issues After Incarceration, Breaking the Cycle of the Revolving Door, and Self Expressions.
