Lehigh County Wants Your Help!

Invitation to participate in planning

Lehigh County Department of Mental Health, Intellectual Disabilities, Drug and Alcohol, Office of Children and Youth Services, Aging and Adult Services, and the Juvenile Probation Department need your help to improve our services to children and families.  We are currently working to better coordinate services when families are receiving help from more than one County agency.  If you are at least 14 years of age, or are the caretaker of a child who is currently receiving or have received services from the Lehigh County Department of Human Services and/or the Juvenile Probation Department you can help.

You can help by:

  • Completing surveys
  • Joining a committee

What do these committees do and when do they meet?

Currently there are four committees called "Process Improvement Teams" (PIT) working on tasks.  The PIT teams meet at various times; usually once a month at the Lehigh County Government Center.

If you are interested in sharing your experiences in order to help Lehigh County better provide better services to children and families, or would like to learn more, please call Pat Theodore at (610) 871-1986.
