This training is a knowledge and skill building opportunity to help clinicians increase their knowledge and understanding of the ASAM 3.1 level of care criteria.  The training will provide an overview of the ASAM dimensions and specific 3.1 criteria used to determine the most appropriate level of care. Training will also provide specific questions for consideration when assessing the appropriateness of the 3.1 level of care for a client.

The course will cover the following topics:

• The six (6) dimensions of the ASAM criteria.
• The 3.1 level of care ASAM admission criteria.
• Clinical guidelines for discharge, transfer, and continuing treatment.
• Specific questions for consideration when assessing the appropriateness of the 3.1 level of care for a client.
• Q&A

Who Should Attend: This webinar is targeted for all HealthChoices providers from all levels of care. Clinical and non-clinical staff, supervisors, and administrators are encouraged to attend.
