Parenting Tips and Information

Hang your child's artwork/homework/achievements on the refrigerator.

Make sure your child is securely buckled (carseat or seatbelt) while in a vehicle.  Buckle up yourself too!

Ask your child about their day and really listen.

No parent is perfect.  Utilize your community resources to promote

growth within yourself and your family.

Do a home safety check.  Check your smoke detectors and fire extinguishers, replace if necessary.  Keep your hot water heater below 120 degrees.  Keep screens on your windows.  Have safe working locks on your doors.

Say something positive about your child to someone else, while they are in earshot.
