Farmers Market Nutrition Art638799838692133891

2025 FARMERS MARKET NUTRITION PROGRAM - The Lehigh County Office of Aging and Adult Services will once again distribute Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers to eligible senior residents by mail, upon receipt of a completed application and while supplies last. Vouchers are available to Lehigh County residents aged 60 or older whose total gross household income falls within the following guidelines: $28,953 or less for a one-person household, and $39,128 or less for a two-person household.

Eligible individuals in a one-person household will receive five $5 vouchers, and eligible two-person households will receive ten $5 vouchers. Please note that these vouchers are issued one time only per household.  We recognize that this year’s benefit amount reflects a reduction from the previous year’s program. However, the Lehigh County Office of Aging and Adult Services is not responsible for determining the benefit amount. Any questions or concerns regarding this change should be directed to your local elected officials or the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and are redeemable as of June 1, 2025.

A list of participating local farmers’ markets where the vouchers may be used to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables is available at https://www.pameals.pa.gov/public/farmmarketsearch. This list will also be included in the mailing with your vouchers.

Please note: This program is not available to seniors residing in nursing homes, convents, or other residential facilities where meals are provided. Vouchers are not accepted at grocery stores and must be used no later than November 30, 2025.

Vouchers will be mailed once received from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

To apply, you must complete an application and submit it to our office via email or mail.  Applications can be obtained by clicking on the application link below,
