Here, visitors can discover a wide array of tastes, culture, entertainment and history. The Downtown Allentown Business Alliance (DABA) consists of the area from 5th Street to 12th Street, and from Walnut to Linden Streets, and is supported by adjoining city neighborhoods and the riverfront. The Downtown Allentown Business Alliance is a project of the Allentown Chamber of Commerce.

Eat your way through Downtown Allentown and experience the tastes of Bru Daddy's, The Dime, Bell Hall, The Downtown Market, the Allentown Brew Works - and so many  more!  Test your art abilities at a class at the Baum School; take in a show at Allentown Symphony Hall; enjoy the exhibits at the Allentown Art Museum; or take a walk through the Arts Park!

Downtown Allentown is also home to great retailers including RE:find, assembly 88, and treasures like Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ - the 'Liberty Bell' church - which hid the Liberty Bell from the British in 1777.  That's just one of the many stories downtown Allentown has to tell.

Another popular program offered by The Downtown Allentown Business Alliance is the 'Summer in the City' (SITC) music series. This is a 12-week lunchtime music series which takes place on Thursdays from 11:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. and runs from June through August in Downtown Allentown at the PPL Plaza.  Proudly sponsored by County of Lehigh, the SITC music program was created in an effort to better engage the downtown workforce and give employees a chance to be outdoors while listening to great, Lehigh Valley musicians and taking advantage of the eateries and restaurants in Downtown Allentown.
