Military Discharge (DD214)

Recording:
We recommend you record your Military Discharge (DD214) in case the original is misplaced or destroyed. There is no charge to record Military Discharges in the Recorder of Deeds Division.

Copies:
Military Discharges (DD214) are confidential and permitted to be disclosed only to the veteran; or to a member of his/her immediate family; or to his/her agent or representative duly authorized in writing. Certified copies may be obtained at no charge by the parties stated above with proper photo ID and documentation.
