|  | | - Lehigh County Mental Health assists consumers with obtaining safe and stable housing.
- Housing options range from group homes and personal care/assisted living facilities to one time rental assistance through the PATH grant to prevent eviction or provide a security deposit which allows independence in the community.
- If community independence is the long term goal, consumers are strongly encouraged to apply for Section 8 through the Allentown Housing Authority or Lehigh County Housing Authority.
- Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley is a nonprofit organization that builds and renovates simple, affordable housing. When the houses are competed, they are sold to each prospective homeowner with no interest mortgages. Find out more about this program, if you qualify or if you would like to volunteer.
